PRINCETON, N.J. (5/5/13) - The Princeton women's track & field team finished fourth at the 2013 Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championship at Weaver Stadium. The Tigers earned 104 points, while Cornell won the team title with 145 points. Columbia was second with 131 and Harvard was third with 118. Dartmouth finished fifth with 81 points followed by Brown with 78, Penn with 56 and Yale with 10.

Senior Mel Newbery had two top-five individual finishes. She was third in the steeplechase at 10:20.76 and was fourth in the 3,000 at 9:34.33, shaving nearly 10 seconds off her PR.

The 4x400 relay of senior Melissa Zajdel, sophomore Kim Mackay, senior Joie Hand and Barowski placed third at 3:43.53. Hand was also sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:01.98.
