COMPLETE RESULTS l SATURDAY RECAP

Everything is set up for a dramatic Ivy League championship showdown in four weeks. Princeton is the four-time reigning champion, but Harvard made its presence known with a sweep of both Princeton and Yale this weekend in the annual H-Y-P weekend at DeNunzio Pool.

The next time the two programs meet, it will be a neutral site (Brown), and the stakes will be far higher.

Harvard was able to maintain its Saturday lead during the Senior Day session on Sunday, and it got off to a strong start with a win in the 200 medley relay. Princeton did take both second and third, though. The foursome of Michael Strand, Teo D'Alessandro, Brooks Powell and Harrison Wagner took second in 1:27.62, while Kaspar Raigla, Jack Pohlmann, Ian Rea and Brian Barrett finished third in 1:28.08.

Senior diver Stevie Vines, the 2011 Ivy League Championships Diver of the Meet, won the 1-meter diving competition in a tight battle with Harvard's Michael Mosca. Vines won with a score of 332.75, while Mosca took second with 330.40 points. Princeton senior Christopher Kelly impressed in his final performance at Denunzio, placing fourth with 305.85 points.

Sophomore Caleb Tuten finished second in the 400 IM in 3:54.79, while junior Daniel Hasler added a fifth-place finish in 3:57.38. The duo of Wagner (44.20) and freshman Jeremy Wong (44.25) went 3-4 in the 100 free.

One of Princeton's Sunday highlights came in the 200 back, as the Tigers went 1-2 and took three of the top four spots. Sophomore Connor Maher won in an impressive time of 1:44.68, while freshman En-Wei Hu-Van Wright took second in 1:45.37. Junior Adam Lebovitz added a fourth-place finish in 1:47.71.

The Tigers topped that showing in the 100 fly, going 1-2-3 and taking four of the top five spots. Freshman Brooks Powell won in 48.71, less than one tenth of a second faster than Raigla (48.79), his senior teammate. Junior Ian Rea added a third-place finish in 48.90, and Strand took fifth in 49.08.

Senior Will Lawley was Princeton's top finisher in the 500, taking fourth in 4:28.91. Sophomore Conner Jager added a sixth-place finish in 4:30.79. The freshman duo of Byron Sanborn (1:58.78) and Pohlmann (1:58.88) went 2-3 in the 200 breast.

Princeton closed the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay, as the quartet of Wong, Wagner, Maher and Sandy Bole finished in 2:55.60.

Princeton will conclude its regular season next Friday at 6 when it takes on Columbia in New York City.
