13: Princeton led La Salle in shots 13-9, leading to seven saves for La Salle goalkeeper Jessica Wiggins. Tyler Lussi and Lauren Lazo led Princeton in shots with five apiece.

There were plenty of near-misses Tuesday night, but in the 60th minute Lauren Lazo made an end-run to the goalkeeper's left side of the six-yard box and fired, with Wiggins blocking the ball but not corraling it. Still, Wiggins was able to grab it just before Tyler Lussi got a foot on the rebound, keeping the game scoreless.

• The tie was the first in the series with La Salle, which saw four Princeton wins from 1987-90 and another in 2005 before La Salle won in 2011 at Roberts. The Tigers returned the favor last year in Philadelphia, and the series now stands at 6-1-1 in favor of Princeton.

• The 0-0 tie is Princeton's second scoreless draw of the season. The Tigers also played 110 minutes without a goal at Seton Hall last month.

• The 0-0 tie was the first one at Roberts Stadium for the Tiger women since Penn held off a Princeton challenge to an Ivy title by getting the tie that the Quakers needed to close the 2010 regular season.

Darcy Hargadon earned her fifth shutout of the season, making saves on both La Salle shots on goal.

Saturday at 7 p.m., Princeton will resume the Ivy League slate at Dartmouth (3-4-1, 0-1) in the first of back-to-back league road games. The Big Green will be looking to rebound from a season-opening loss as well, losing at Brown 1-0 last Sunday.
