Women's Golf Stands Fourth in North Carolina Entering Sunday's Final Round
With Kelly Shon just one shot off the individual lead the Princeton women's golf team is in fourth place after the first two rounds at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational in Wallace, N.C., with one round to play Sunday.
Shon carded a 72 and a 75 Saturday to stand at +3 on the River Landing Golf Club's par-72 course, even with host UNC Wilmington's Lori Beth Adams and one shot back of UNC Greensboro's Fanny Cnops.
Tiffany Dong (+10), Alexandra Wong (+12), Sydney Kersten (+16) and Anna Jang (+19) complete the Princeton five. The top four scorers have Princeton at +41 after the first two rounds, just four shots behind UNC Wilmington with Old Dominion and UNCG tied for second, one shot in front of Princeton.
