LIVE RESULTS l LISA BOYCE INTERVIEW l PRINCETON WINS THE IVY TITLE

Junior Lisa Boyce made her 2013 NCAA Championships debut Thursday afternoon in the 50 prelims. Her time of 22.80 did not qualify her for the evening session, though she will still have two more opportunities to become Princeton's first All-America women's swimmer since Alicia Aemisegger '10.

Boyce, who has swept her Ivy League individual events in each of the last two years, placed 41st overall in the 50. Her time was off her Princeton record time of 22.07, which she set last month in winning the Ivy League title at DeNunzio Pool.

Boyce will compete in the 100 back Friday afternoon. The three-time reigning Ivy League champion in the event, Boyce enters with a time of 52.93, 26th-best in the nation. She holds the Princeton record in the event.

On the final day of the NCAA Championships, Boyce will compete in the 100 free. She is currently 20th in the nation in 48.74, and she can grab her third Princeton record by dropping that time by .09 of a second. Boyce is the two-time reigning Ivy League champion in the event.

Boyce was among the select few swimmers nationally who was invited in all three of her events. Boyce qualified in all three at the 2012 NCAA Championships as well, and she placed in the Top 50 in each, including 31st in the 100 free.

"We are excited to be here in Indianapolis with Lisa representing Princeton," said head coach Susan Teeter, who has led Princeton to 11 Ivy League titles in the last 14 years. "She is excited to race and [assistant coach] Suzanne Yee has done a great job preparing her to swim fast. Both of us are very proud of her."
