Diversity and Intercollegiate Athletics at Princeton University

Princeton University’s Department of Athletics is committed to recruiting and educating the very best student-athletes it can, without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation or any other defining characteristic. Further, Princeton’s Department of Athletics understands its responsibility to create an atmosphere in which all of its student-athletes can reach their full potential and can feel comfortable exploring their individual paths.

The Department will make every effort to provide student-athletes with all possible information on programs, events, discussions and resources related to diversity, equal opportunity and respect for inclusiveness.  It is a core belief that such efforts will lead all student-athletes to feel welcome on campus and be able to learn from and help educate others of any number of backgrounds and perspectives, which in turn will lead to a better academic and athletic experience for all.
