One year ago, the Princeton men's lightweight crew placed third in the Goldthwait Cup competition, falling to rivals Harvard and Yale. Two weeks later, the Tigers were crowned champions of Eastern Sprints. The Tigers now hope history can repeat itself.
Harvard took the cup by winning the varsity eight in 5:37.6, nearly four seconds faster than Yale. Princeton finished third in 5:48.2. The Tigers would take second to Harvard in the remander of the races, including a very close finish in the novice eight.
2nd Varsity 8:
Harvard A 6:44.3
Harvard B 6:55.6
