For the second time in three weeks and the third time this season, Princeton junior goaltender Zane Kalemba received Goaltender of the Week honors from the ECAC. Kalemba backstopped the Tigers to a pair of
wins over visiting Brown and Yale at Hobey Baker Rink for Princeton's
first home league sweep of the season.
Kalemba stopped 56 of the 57 shots he faced, making 25 saves in a 4-1 win over Brown on Friday night, and stopping all 31 shots in a 2-0 blanking of Yale on Saturday. The performances lowered his nation's best goals-against average to 1.58 and he has the second best save percentage at .939.
Kalemba and the Tigers climbed four spots to sixth in both national polls with the two wins. Princeton closes the regular season this weekend at Dartmouth and Harvard.
