1952 STADIUM VENUE

CHAIN OF COMMAND (In Attendance)

1) Chain of command during severe or catastrophic injury will be as follows:

a) Team Physician (if present)
b) Certified Athletic Trainer
c) Coaching Staff

2) If Team Physician or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) are ON SITE at time of injury, he/she will take command.

3) If Team Physician or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) are NOT ON SITE, then the next person on the Chain of Command is in charge.

EMERGENCY PERSONNEL

Field Hockey/Women's Lacrosse: For all intercollegiate events a Certified Athletic Trainer will be on site. Team physician may be on site or on call for games. For all scheduled practices an ATC will be on site.

Men's Lacrosse: For all intercollegiate events a Certified Athletic Trainer will be on site. Team physician will also be on site for games. For all scheduled practices an ATC will be on site

EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION

Certified Athletic Trainer will carry cellular phone to access EMS/public safety. In the event a Certified Athletic Trainer is not in attendance, contact Caldwell Athletic Training Staff AND EMS/public safety using campus phone under the bleachers (numbers are on the phone) to coordinate any emergency needs. Send designated person to meet ambulance at entrance.

EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT ON SITE

M/W Lacrosse/Field Hockey:
Practices: Water and First aid/Athletic Trainer's kit will be provided. Ice machine is located in Team Room. All emergency equipment will be located under the bleachers in the shed. (3-4 key unlock shed)

Intercollegiate Events: Ice, water and a first aid/Athletic Trainer's kit will be provided. All emergency equipment will be located under the bleachers in the shed.

LOCATION OF AED

An AED will be available through public safety or athletic training staff during all scheduled practices/events.

ACCESS TO VENUE

DIRECTIONS: 1952 Stadium is located off of Elm Drive via access road towards parking lot 20.

FIELD: Access field through gate off of Lot 20. For access to far end of field, enter through Bedford Field. (Fence entrances at both ends of field)

LOCKER ROOM: Access through main entrance, under bleachers at each end.

LOCATION OF LIGHTNING SHELTER

All athletes and coaches must clear the field and use the Team Locker Rooms in the '52 Stadium for shelter. 1952 Stadium Team Locker Rooms may also be used as lightning shelter for teams using New Bedford, Lourie-Love or Gulick fields.

LOCATION OF EMERGENCY PHONES

Cellular Phone (w/ ATC) Campus Phones: Scorer's Table (only during games) Underneath Bleachers (between Team Room & Women's Restroom) Blue Light Emergency Phone (outside stadium across street from main entrance)
