Lourie-Love Field
With its impeccably maintained green and seating for 2,000 spectators, Lourie-Love Field is the perfect place to play and watch a soccer match. Home to both Princeton's men's and women's soccer teams, the field is named in honor of Donold B. Lourie '22, one of Princeton's greatest athletes, and his friend George H. Love '22. Both Lourie, who earned six varsity letters, and Love served on Princeton's board of trustees. Princeton's soccer field serves as a reminder of the friendship these two men shared and their contributions to the Princeton community.
The lighted field also served as a training facility for the U.S. national soccer team during the summer of 1995.
