Ever since Sam Shweisky took over the Princeton men's volleyball program, he has talked about lofty goals. In his fifth season, he saw his team accomplish as many of those goals as they had in any of his previous four years. During the 2014 season, Princeton:

• defeated Penn State for the first time in 36 attempts, dating back to 1998.
• knocked off Harvard to reach its second EIVA championship match in the last five years.
• reached its third straight EIVA Final Four, the first time it had done since 1996-98.
• defeated a Top 10 program (Penn State) for the first time since 1997.
• collected its third AVCA All-America honor, as Cody Kessel earned honorable mention.
• placed two players (Tony Ensbury, Cody Kessel) on the EIVA First Team and two more on the EIVA Second Team (Pat Schwagler, Devin Stearns).

Shweisky recently looked back on the memorable 2014 season, which you can watch here.
