Men's Hockey Announces Class of 2018

The Princeton men's hockey program is proud to present its nine-member recruiting class that will make up the Class of 2018.

They are:

Max Becker - Salmon Arm Silver Backs (BCHL)
   5’10 175 lbs. F DOB: 7.07.1995 Orange County, Calif./Salmon Arm
   GP: 32 G: 6 A: 7 PTS: 13 PIM: 34
Max was a student-athlete at Shattuck St Mary’s Prep, won a national championship with the program. He played last season in the BCHL. Max is a proven goal scorer and will upgrade the programs skill level.

Ryan Berlin -  Whitecourt Wolverines (AJHL)
    6’2  205 lbs. F DOB: 2.10.1994  Edmonton Alb./     
    GP: 60  G: 28  A: 26  PTS: 54  PIM: 62
Ryan is a power forward who skates very well and has a good touch around the net. He was a two-year captain and will be a versatile player for Princeton. 

Joe Grabowski – Amarillo (NAHL)
   6’3 210 lbs. RD DOB: 9.1.1994 Lawrenceville, N.J./Notre Dame HS
   GP: 59 G: 8 A: 26 PTS: 34 PIM: 134
Joe is a big, tough defenseman with a huge presence.

Ben Halford – Bay State Breakers (USPHL)
   6’3 205 1bs Goaiie DOB 5.16.1993 Lennox, Mass./Albany Academy
   36 GP 3.22 G.A.A. .910 SVS%
Ben is a big competitive goalie with a calm demeanor in the net. He is experienced and will compete for playing time immediately.

David Hallisey – Islanders Hockey Club (USPHL)
   5’10 180 lbs. F DOB: 8.18.1994 Weathersfield, Conn./Westminster School
   GP: 50 G: 18 A: 14 PTS: 32 PIM: 18
David a former Westminster Prep captain. He is a versatile forward that can play in all situations. His strengths are his speed and work ethic.

Connor McLaren - Gloucester Rangers (CCHL)
   6’2 185 lbs. F DOB: 1.12.1993 Metcalfe, Ont./Osgoode Township HS
   GP: 15 G: 9 A: 6 PTS: 15 PIM: 17
Connor is a veteran of CCHL junior hockey where he was a two-year captain. He has 140 career points and more than 150 penalty minutes. He is a big strong forward that can shoot hard. He should make an immediate impact on the team.

Matt Nelson – Omaha (USHL)
   6’0 200 lbs. RD DOB: 8.4.1994 Edina, Minn./Edina HS
   GP: 50 G: 8 A: 11 PTS: 19 PIM: 68
   2012-13 Captained Edina to Minnesota State Championship
Matt is a tough, competitive defenseman with a great shot.

Stuart Pomeroy - Amarillo (NAHL)
   6’2 200 1bs RD DOB 2.5.1995 Seattle, Wash./Culver Academy
   GP 25 GP: 25 G: 0 A: 2 PTS: 2 PIM: 15
The former captain at Culver Military Academy. Stu is a strong, tough defender who has the ability to defend and break his team out of the zone. Stu’s parents are both former Princeton hockey players, and his mother was also an Olympic rower.

Eric Robinson – Dubuque (USHL)
   6’1 180 lbs. LW DOB: 6.14.1995 Bellmawr, N.J./Gloucester Catholic HS
   GP: 50 G: 8 A: 16 PTS: 24 PIM: 24
   2012-13 played for Team Comcast U18
Eric is a power forward with great skating and play-making abilities.
