Challenging, Pivotal Weekend Ahead for Tennis Teams at Harvard, Dartmouth
The second-to-last weekend of the Ivy League season is ahead for the Princeton tennis teams, but things are far from decided. This weekend will go a long way in telling how things will shake out.
Both the men's and women's teams are in the thick of the Ivy race. The women, who will be home Saturday against Harvard and Sunday against Dartmouth with both matches starting at noon, are 3-0 in the Ivy League and are at the top of the table with Columbia. The Lions are Princeton's last Ivy opponent next weekend, but the rest of the league is right behind the Tigers if they look ahead. Brown, Harvard, Yale and Dartmouth, who will finish their Ivy seasons a week after Princeton, are all 1-1.
The men will head to Harvard Saturday and Dartmouth Sunday with both matches starting at 1 p.m. Columbia leads the Ivy at 3-0, but Penn and Princeton are right behind at 2-1. Dartmouth, Yale and Harvard are next at 1-1.
