PRINCETON, N.J. (10/3/13) - The 2013 Ivy League season kicks off this Saturday, Oct. 3 when Princeton making the trip to Dartmouth. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.

Princeton holds a 38-20-7 edge in the all-time series with Dartmouth since it began in 1921. The Tigers won a 2-1 game in overtime at Roberts Stadium last year. The home teams have been successful with neither team losing on its home field in 10 years. Princeton is 3-0-2 when playing Dartmouth at home, and 0-4 when playing at Dartmouth. The last time the Tigers took a game in Hanover was in 2003, a 3-2 win.

The Tigers are looking to start anew as they begin the Ivy League slate. Princeton enters the weekend with a 2-5 non-conference schedule. Dartmouth enters the Ivy League weekend undefeated at 4-0-4. The Big Green most recently tied Vermont 1-1 on Tuesday at home. Dartmouth is off to its best start since 1987 when the team went 6-0-1. The Big Green has double up their opponents in goals, scoring 12. However the team is allowing more shots than it is taking (14.0-12.4), and have given up 12 more corner kicks (32-44). Alex Adelabu is the team's leading scorer with eight points on three goals and two assist. Colin Heffron has five points with one goal and a team-best three assists.
