After leading Princeton to a dramatic 3-2 home victory over Penn in the Ivy League opener for both schools, sophomore outside Kendall Peterkin and freshman setter Lauren Miller gave the Tigers a sweep of the weekly Ivy League individual honors.

Peterkin, a first-team All-Ivy League honoree as a freshman last season, led all players with 21 kills during Princeton's 21-25, 25-17, 25-23, 15-25, 15-11 victory over the Quakers. She added eight digs, two service aces, one block and one assist for the Tigers, who will play their next four Ivy League matches on the road.

"Kendall has the potential to be a really special player in this league," head coach Sabrina King said. "She keeps improving, and she came up with a huge performance when we needed it."

Peterkin leads the Ivy League in both kills (3.8) and points (4.4) per set this season. Her point total ranks in the Top 50 among all NCAA teams.

Miller earned her first Rookie of the Week honor after recording a career-high and match-best 59 assists in the win over Penn. She also added nine digs and four kills in the win.

"Playing in her first Ivy League match, I was impressed with Lauren's composure on the court," King said. "She handled the offense very well, and she put down a few balls at important times. She will only get better as the season progresses, and I'm excited to watch her development."

Miller helped the offense hit .313 for the match, and .308 in the crucial fifth set.

Princeton will head to Cornell and Columbia this weekend. Cornell opened its Ivy League season with a 3-2 home win over the Lions.
