PRINCETON, N.J. (9/30/13) - Princeton's Cameron Porter was named the Ivy League Men's Soccer co-Player of the Week it was announced by the league office on Monday, Sept. 30.

Porter had a career six-point night as Princeton defeated FIU 4-2. Porter is the first player to score six points in a game since 2009, when MLS player Antoine Hoppenot had six against Yale. He was a factor in all four goals, scoring twice and assisted on the other two.

Porter gave the Tigers the lead in the 23rd minute, the only goal of the half. He assisted on the next two goals in the 51st and 53rd minute. Porter saw Thomas Sanner open in front of the goal and dished it off for the team's second goal. It was a near identical play two minutes later when Porter came in on the right side and but this time released a shot that was stopped by Mion. The rebound came out to the feet of Sanner and he knocked it in. Porter sealed the win with the fourth goal putting away a cross in the 72nd minute, as he dribbled by his defender and fired through traffic.

The Tigers open the Ivy League season on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Dartmouth.
