Over the next nine Saturdays, the Princeton Football team will be seeking victory on the field. But they'll also be looking for a different kind of success during those games, and they are asking for your support in that battle.

The following letter comes from senior offensive lineman Max Coale, who also serves as the president of the Princeton Chapter of Uplifting Athletes:

Dear Princeton Family,

This season, our team is taking on more than just one opponent each Saturday on the gridiron. Together, we will also be battling Aplastic Anemia with your help.

Our Uplifting Athletes Chapter is hosting our second annual Touchdown Pledge Campaign in order to raise money for Aplastic Anemia research. To learn more about how to help us champion Aplastic Anemia research with every touchdown, visit our Touchdown Pledge Drive website.

We chose to champion those afflicted with Aplastic Anemia because of Jordan Culbreath '11, who was diagnosed with this disease his senior year. Aplastic Anemia is a life-threatening disease where the body’s bone marrow does not produce enough new blood cells.

We are proud to be a part of Uplifting Athletes, a national non-profit organization that aligns college football with rare diseases in order to raise them as a national priority. Along with supporting us every weekend this year on the gridiron, we hope you take part in our touchdown drive campaign.

Together, we can make a big impact in the rare disease community.

Together…We Are…Stronger!

Go Tigers!
