Brase, Germany Wrap Play in FIBA U-20 European Championship

Hans Brase played with the German national team at the just-concluded FIBA U-20 European Championship.

Hans Brase and the German national team completed their play at the FIBA U-20 European Championship in Estonia with a classification game Sunday, July 21.

Germany defeated Croatia 76-65 to finish in 11th place, completing a tournament that saw the Germans advance from the first stage but finish one win short of continuing on to the quarterfinals. That put Germany in the classification round for ninth through 12th place, where a loss to France put Germany against Croatia for 11th on the final day of the tournament.

For Princeton, Brase led the Princeton freshman class in playing time and was the only rookie to start during the 2012-13 season, making 18 starts while playing in all 28 games. Brase averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds during his first season as a Tiger.
