The Princeton women's soccer program, coming off an undefeated, untied Ivy League season and a win in the NCAA tournament, will welcome nine members of the Class of 2017 onto the team. GoPrincetonTigers.com will introduce you to the newcomers one by one through the offseason.

Sarah Mendenhall • 5-10 • Forward/Midfielder
Pasadena, Calif. • Pasadena Poly

Mendenhall has earned first-team all-area honors from the Pasadena Star-News and Burbank Leader during her career and has served as an ambassador for Soccer Without Borders. She competed with the Camarillo Eagles club team and won the U-16 title at the San Diego Surf Cup in 2010, scoring a goal in the championship game. In March, Mendenhall and Pasadena Poly made it to the CIF Southern Section Division 3 final, capping a season in which Mendenhall had 18 goals and 14 assists on the way to her final first-team all-area honor from the Star-News. Mendenhall is a Top Drawer Soccer three-star recruit.

Coach Julie Shackford on Sarah Mendenhall:
"Sarah is a forward with good height and physical presence. She is also very technical and can play as a target or more traditional attacker. She combines well and finishes consistently. She has played most recently with former U.S. men's team coach Steve Sampson and the Eagles SC. We look forward to having her join the soccer family at Princeton."
