Aiming to build on its 3-1 start to Ivy League play, the Princeton softball team will head to Harvard and Dartmouth Friday and Saturday.

Princeton and Penn are tied atop the Ivy South standings at 3-1 with Cornell just a game back and Columbia two off the pace. Yale leads the Ivy North at 3-1 with Harvard and Dartmouth a game back and Brown three back.

Last meeting: On Mar. 31, 2012, Harvard swept a twinbill at '95 Field, 6-5 and 8-0.

• Four Tigers have earned Ivy weekly honors already this season, including Pitchers of the Week Alex Peyton (Apr. 2) and Shanna Christian (Mar. 5), Player of the Week Alyssa Schmidt (Mar. 5) and Rookies of the Week Christian (Mar. 5) and Emily Viggers (Mar. 19).

• Princeton is ranked No. 14 in the nation in doubles per game, through games of Mar. 31, then at 1.73.

• Princeton's 18-9 record is its best through 27 games since 2006, when the Tigers were also 18-9. The 3-1 Ivy record is its best since 2008, when the Tigers started Ivy play 4-0.

• Princeton's last four-game sweep of the Harvard-Dartmouth trip was in 1995. Since, Princeton has gone 3-1 in 1997, 3-1 in 2002, 1-3 in 2004, 3-1 in 2006, 1-3 in 2009, and 2-2 in 2011.

• All four Princeton pitchers have had multiple wins this season. Seniors Alex Peyton and Liza Kuhn and freshman Shanna Christian are all 5-3, and sophomore Meredith Brown is 2-0.

• All 19 Tigers have started at least two games this season. Alex Peyton is the only Tiger to have started every game.

• Alex Peyton has pitched a team-high 35 percent of Princeton's innings. Kristen Rumley has pitched 56 percent of Dartmouth's innings, and Morgan Groom has pitched 41 percent of Harvard's.

• Between Princeton, Harvard and Dartmouth, all three hitters averaging at least .400 are Tigers: Alyssa Schmidt (.433), Emily Viggers (.429), and Kayla Bose (.417).
