Jeff Froccaro started Princeton off with a goal 63 seconds into the game, and by the the time the Tigers' 11-8 win over Johns Hopkins was finished, his fingerprints were all over it.

Froccaro finished with three goals and an assist, and perhaps just as importantly won 5 of 9 face-offs against the Blue Jays' Mike Poppleton, who is 51 for 63 against everyone else besides Jeff Froccaro so far this year.

His performance earned him Ivy League Co-Player of the Week honors along with Corell defenseman Jason Noble, who shut out Colgate's Peter Baum, the 2012 Tewaraaton Trophy winner, in the Big Red's 19-3 win over the Raiders.

Froccaro now has back-to-back four-point games to start his senior season. One of his goals against Hopkins came on an assist from his brother Jake, a freshman, who had two goals and two assists of his own.

The win over Hopkins vaulted Princeton in the polls, as the Tigers went from 12th to fifth among both the coaches and the media.

Princeton plays its home opener Tuesday night (7) against Villanova.
