ALBANY, N.Y. (1/8/13) - Junior Andrew Calof of the Princeton men's
hockey team has been named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week it was
announced by the league office on Tuesday, Jan. 8. This is Calof's second weekly honor this season.
Calof recorded his first career hat trick, scoring all three of Princeton's goals in a 3-2 overtime win over Harvard on Friday, Jan. 4. Calof gave Princeton a 1-0 lead in the first and made it 2-0 midway through the second. Just 58 seconds into overtime Calof scored the game winner. Prior to the game, Calof's career best was two goals in a game, which occurred eight times. The next day, Calof collected an assist in a 2-1 win over No. 8 Dartmouth.
Princeton hosts No. 16 Union and Rensselaer this weekend, Jan. 11 & 12.
