BOX SCORE

The Princeton volleyball team rebounded from its first Ivy League loss in style Saturday, sweeping Brown 3-0 to move to 6-1 in Ivy play. At worst, the Tigers will be one match back of Yale, though the Bulldogs have a tough home match with Penn Saturday evening.

Senior Lydia Rudnick recorded 17 kills and eight digs for the Tigers, which claimed a 25-17, 25-20, 25-14 victory over Brown. Junior middle Leah Jordan had one of her best efforts on the season with 12 kills in only 15 swings for a .733 attack percentage. Fellow middle Tiana Woolridge was also dominant, recording eight kills with only one error, while also leading the defense with five blocks.

Sophomore setter Ginny Willis had 42 assists for Princeton and led the team to a .290 attack percentage, while freshman libero Sarah Daschbach had a team-best 22 digs. Juniors Sydney Brombal (10) and Chelsea Parker (11) also aided the defense with double-digit dig efforts.

Now at the midway point of the Ivy League season, Princeton can look at a crucial five-match homestand. That run begins Friday night at Dillon Gym when the Tigers host Penn at 7 pm. Princeton rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Penn at the Palestra in the Ivy League opener.
