Coming off big weekends for both, women's volleyball head coach Sabrina King and All-Ivy defensive lineman Mike Catapano join the Oct. 4 edition of TigerCast.
King has led Princeton to a 3-0 start in league play, with all three victories coming on the road. Last weekend, the Tigers rallied for a five-set win at Harvard, then followed with a sweep at Dartmouth. Though the Tigers have the reigning Ivy League Player of the Week in Lydia Rudnick, Princeton has played with as many as five underclassmen on the court for much of the Ivy season. King talks about the early portion of the Ivy season and her expectations for the upcoming Columbia-Cornell weekend.
Catapano is coming off an All-Ivy season in 2011, and he looks primed for an even better performance this season. He ranks third in the league in sacks and fifth in tackles for loss, and he helped the football team to a 33-6 victory over Columbia in last weekend's Ivy League opener. Catapano talks about the new atmosphere in the locker room, and the importance of Saturday's final nonleague game at Lafayette.
