PRINCETON, N.J. (10/2/12) - Jumping six spots, the Princeton men's cross country team is now ranked No. 11 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll.

The Tigers were ranked No. 17 last week when it ran second at the Notre Dame Invitational. The race featured 10 nationally ranked squads, including Princeton, which finished ahead of five of those top-30 teams.

For the fourth consecutive week, Princeton is ranked No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic region. Villanova is nipping at the Tigers' heels as it sits one place back in the national poll at No. 12.
