Princeton senior Matija Pecotic, the two-time Ivy League Player of the Year, won the top flight in both singles and doubles Sunday to conclude the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational.

With Zack McCourt, the Tiger duo defeated Patrick Chase and John Huang of Yale 8-4 to win the doubles "A" flight, and Pecotic, ranked 67th in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, defeated 95th-ranked Winston Lin of Columbia 7-6(2), 6-4 to win the Tiger Draw, the top singles flight.

"(Assistant coach) Ryan (Keckley) and I were very pleased with the overall performance for our first outing of the year," Princeton head coach Billy Pate said. "It was a great weekend in terms of facing strong competition and having the chance to compete against a variety of teams. We're very proud of Matija for winning both the top singles and doubles flights. Also, I think Zach McCourt improved immensely in doubles this weekend, so we're happy to see him garner success. We'll get back to work this week and get ready for another strong event at Flushing next weekend (at the USTA Invitational)."
