Men's Basketball Unveils Uniforms for Spain Trip
The members of the Princeton basketball team took an early team photo Monday morning, and for good reason.
Two days before heading to Spain for a 10-day trip, the Tiger sophomore, junior and senior classes posed in their "Los Tigres" uniforms, specially made for the overseas visit. The black uniforms have the Spanish moniker on the front in script with the uniform number below and on back, all trimmed in orange. Two white stripes run down each side of the jersey and the shorts, which sport an orange "P" on the right leg.
Several players will also be wearing new numbers this season, including Jimmy Sherburne, Clay Wilson, Mack Darrow and Daniel Edwards. Sherburne will be switching from 3 to 2, last worn by Kareem Maddox '11 in his senior season. Wilson is going from 23 to 3, Sherburne's old number. Darrow is going from 32 to 21, last worn by Marcus Schroeder '10 in his senior season and by head coach Mitch Henderson '98 in his playing days. Edwards is going from 41 to 32, Darrow's old number.
Below, the players and members of the coaching staff who will be traveling to Spain:
