Four players represented the Princeton women's water polo team on the CWPA All-Southern Team, announced Thursday. Sophomore Katie Rigler led the way earning Player of the Year honors, while Molly McBee, Kristen Ward and Audrey Zak were all-conference selections.

Rigler earned the division's top billing following a standout year for the Tigers. The utility led Princeton in scoring with 62 goals, in addition to tallying 29 steals, 23 ejections drawn and 11 assists in 29 games played. The Southern California native scored at least one goal in 20 games, scoring three or more 11 times and six in a game twice. Rigler also earned all-conference first team honors for the second consecutive season.

Joining Rigler on the first team is classmate Molly McBee. The Tiger utility, who was a second team selection last year, scored a second-best 36 goals, and made 38 steals, 33 ejections drawn, 21 assists and seven blocks in 29 appearances.

Rounding out Princeton's honorees is the senior tandem of goalie Kristen Ward and center defender Audrey Zak. The duo took home All-CWPA Southern Second Team honors. Ward went 19-4 in the cage, tallying 220 saves, 10 assists and seven blocks. The four-time all-conference selection boasted a .567 saves percentage in 23 starts. Zak, arguably the best defensive field player for the Tigers, was integral in Princeton winning 25 games on the year. In 28 games, she scored 22 goals, and had 22 ejections drawn, 17 steals, 14 assists and five blocks. The all-conference selection was the first of Zak's career.

The Southern Division Champion No. 13 Princeton (25-4, 5-0 Southern) heads to the Eastern Championship as the No. 2 seed this weekend. Following a first round bye, the Tigers will face the winner of the Harvard-Mercyhurst matchup.
