NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- No. 25 Yale followed up its 2011 ECAC Championship win over Princeton with another in Sunday's rematch as the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 4-2.

Yale gained the upper hand with a doubles-point sweep and won the first two singles matches to be completed. That gave the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead, meaning Princeton needed to sweep the remaining four singles matches to hold the title.

Lindsay Graff and Katie Goepel narrowed the gap to 3-2 with singles wins, but Yale's Stephanie Kent won at fourth singles to provide the clincher.

Princeton will head south to Birmingham, Ala., when it returns to the court at the Blue-Gray Invitational next weekend.
