Ranked Foes Meet as Women's Tennis Takes on Georgia Tech
Off its season-opening sweep of Temple Wednesday night, the Princeton women's tennis team will head to Atlanta for a match against No. 13 Georgia Tech Friday at 2 p.m.
Live scoring for the match will be available here. It will be the first of two straight matches against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents as 51st-ranked Princeton will host Maryland, currently ranked 41st, next weekend.
The Tigers and Yellow Jackets have never met in a dual meet.
In addition to its team ranking, Princeton (1-0) boasts two ranked doubles pairs on the most recent ITA list, with senior Hilary Bartlett and freshman Lindsay Graff checking in at No. 51, and senior Rachel Saiontz and freshman Katie Goepel ranking 55th.
Georgia Tech has two ranked singles players in No. 45 Jillian O'Neill and No. 106 Christina Ngo. On the doubles list, the Yellow Jackets have 33rd-ranked Caroline Lilley and Jasmine Minor. Standing at 3-1 on the season, Georgia Tech opened with a 4-3 loss to Georgia, now ranked No. 6, before wins against three other ranked opponents in now-No. 26 South Carolina, now-No. 47 Georgia State and now-No. 59 Memphis.
