Women's Tennis Opens with Sweep of Temple

PRINCETON -- Opening its dual-match schedule Wednesday night, the 50th-ranked Princeton women's tennis team swept Temple 7-0.

The Owls (0-1) pushed two of the doubles matches within four points and another within two, but all three Princeton teams prevailed to claim the first point.

The same six Tigers who secured the 1-0 lead also swept the six singles courts with just one match going to a third set.

Princeton (1-0) will head to Atlanta for a tough test against No. 13 Georgia Tech (3-1) Friday at 2 p.m.
