Release: 09/23/2011
This is a special update regarding Community and Staff Day which will take place this Saturday, September 24 from 3 to 6 pm.

Despite the forecast of heavy rain over the next few days, all pre-game events will take place as planned; we are just moving all the fun indoors to Jadwin Gym.

As a reminder, the Family Fun-fest will take place from 3 – 6 p.m. with bounce houses, face painters, balloon artists, music, and activities for kids of all ages. The Youth Sports Clinic will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. where children ages 5 to 13 can meet with, and learn from, Princeton’s student-athletes. Dining Services will offer a specialty “tailgate-style” menu at their bistro area in Jadwin.

For faculty and staff with picnic vouchers, the picnic will also take place inside Jadwin Gym. Be sure to bring your vouchers for access to the picnic area.

If you have not had a chance to pick up your free football tickets yet, you still have time. Tickets are available at two locations until Friday: Princeton University Athletic Ticket Office, Jadwin Gymnasium: Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Princeton University Office of Community and Regional Affairs, 22 Chambers Street, Suite 101: Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Faculty and staff can receive up to four football tickets per University I.D., based upon availability. Admission to the football game is also free for children who participate in the sports clinic. Any parents or guardians of sports clinic participants will be able to purchase tickets to the game for $5 at the clinic entrance.

This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Community and Regional Affairs, the Department of Athletics, the Office of Human Resources, and Princeton University Dining Services. All employees, their family members, and others in the surrounding communities are invited to attend this fun-filled event. For more information contact Erin Metro at emetro@princeton.edu or 609-258-5144.

We look forward to seeing you there.
