2013-14 COMPLETE SCHEDULE & RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. – Last season, the Princeton University women’s basketball team posted a 21-9 (11-3 Ivy) record en route to its fifth consecutive postseason appearance.
Reaching the 20-win plateau for the fifth straight year, the program secured a bid to the WNIT, eventually falling to Seton Hall in second round action. Under the tutelage of head coach Courtney Banghart, three Tigers garnered All-Ivy recognition, led by Blake Dietrick’s first team selection.
Topping the conference charts in scoring offense (75.7 ppg), scoring margin (+11.6), field goal percentage (.474), assists (16.1) and rebounding margin (+9.4), Princeton finished second in the Ivy in field goal percentage defense (.377), three-point shooting (.366), three-point defense (.310) and blocks (4.0) and third in scoring defense (64.1).
In conjunction with Province Line Productions, Princeton women’s basketball produced a video that takes a look back and recaps the highlights of a successful 2013-14 campaign.
“This video is a celebration of our journey through out the 2013-14 season, said Banghart. “It was another very successful season, not only for how this team came together on the floor, but for the impact they made in the community and in the Princeton Women’s Basketball record book. In our program, winning is the by-product of doing things the right way, both individually and collectively. I’m enormously proud of this group and so grateful to have been part of their journey.”
