PRINCETON, N.J. – With the start of the 2014-15 academic year still seven weeks away, members of the Princeton University men's and women’s water polo teams are spread around the world enjoying productive summers before returning for the first day of classes on Sept. 10.

“I’m always amazed at the opportunities our players have,” said head coach Luis Nicolao. “Princeton opens so many doors and we encourage our students to take full advantage over the summer as they continue to develop both as athletes and individuals.”

In the pool, Ashleigh Johnson helped the United States senior women's national team capture gold at the 2014 Kirishi Cup, while Pippa Temple competed for the British Gas Great Britain national team at the LEN European Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Taking courses overseas, several Tigers are studying in Bermuda, Greece and Vietnam, while others complete internships with Barclays, Credit Suisse, Royal Caribbean and the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
