A trio of Tigers earned All-Ivy League recognition on the votes of the league's coaches, the Ivy office has announced.

Senior outfielder/catcher Maddie Cousens, sophomore pitcher Shanna Christian and freshman infielder Haley Hineman each received All-Ivy League honorable mention. Of the trio, only Cousens has won All-Ivy recognition in previous seasons, being named to the second-team All-Ivy a year ago.

Cousens started all 37 games in which she played this season and closed her career with a collegiate-best 4-for-4 game against Cornell to finish her senior season with a .300 batting average. She was one of three Tigers with a team-best three home runs this season, and her six doubles were tied for second on the team. Of her eight multi-hit games, three came within the season's last five contests, allowing Cousens to hit .500 (9 for 18) with five RBIs over those final five games.

With nearly two-thirds of Princeton's pitching innings from 2013 having graduated, Christian played her first season as Princeton's number-one starter this spring. Throwing a team-high 103 1/3 innings, Christian finished with a 6-12 record and a 4.13 ERA on the season overall, striking out a team-best 68 batters. Christian made 23 appearances in Princeton's 43 games on the season and started the first game of nine of Princeton's 10 Ivy League doubleheaders.

Hineman, a second baseman and shortstop, led the team with a .307 batting average, 39 hits and seven doubles on the season and was one of two Tigers to play in a team-high 42 games. Following the season's first weekend, her first as a collegian, Hineman hit .339 the rest of the way and had 10 multi-hit games. Hineman had a hit in each of the team's final eight games, the weekend series against Penn and Cornell, hitting .462 (12 for 26) over those two weekends.
