The Princeton women's soccer team held its annual banquet Sunday morning, recognizing its annual team award winners and its 2014 captains.

Senior Gabriella Guzman earned the Women's Soccer Award, which is awarded to the team's most valuable player by a vote of team members. Guzman won her second straight first-team All-Ivy League honor in 2013 while also being named NSCAA second-team All-Mid-Atlantic region. A co-captain and a starter in the midfield in all 16 games in which she played, she scored a goal and had three assists in her final campaign.

Senior Cecilia Di Caprio won the Kathy Kobler Garrett '91 Memorial Award, which is presented annually in Garrett's memory to the member of the team whose generosity, positive attitude, genuine consideration for others, and quiet energy makes her essential to the success of the team. Di Caprio made all four career starts in goal as a senior, with three of the four coming against Ivy League opponents Brown, Harvard and Cornell.

Current juniors Lauren Lazo and Gabrielle Ragazzo were named co-captains for the upcoming 2014 season at the banquet, which was held at Salt Creek Grille, a sponsor of Princeton athletics.

Saturday saw Princeton's first of two spring games, the first coming against Seton Hall on Plummer Field at Myslik Stadium. Princeton defeated the Pirates 2-0 in a regulation 90-minute game with goals from Tyler Lussi and Melissa Downey and assists by Ragazzo and Lussi. A freshman in 2013, Lussi led the team in scoring with 10 goals, giving her the most for a Princeton freshman since 1982.

Princeton will play its second and final spring game on April 25 at 6 p.m. at Rutgers.
