PRINCETON, N.J. (3/24/14) - Freshman Anna Doherty of the Princeton women's lacrosse team has been named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the week it was announced by the league office on Monday, March 24.

Entering this week, Doherty had eight goals in five games. She almost reached that mark in just two contests last week, finding the back of the net seven times to lead the Tigers to a 2-0 week. Doherty posted a career-high six points in Princeton’s 14-7 win at Southern California, scoring a personal-best five goals. She then tallied twice in her team’s 16-9 win at San Diego State and has now scored at least one goal in each of Princeton’s seven games this season.

Princeton travels to Columbia for a mid-week Ivy League game on Wednesday nights.
