Six Princeton field hockey players were named to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad for boasting a cumulative GPA above 3.30, it was announced Wednesday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).
Five of the six Princetonians were first time honorees, led by two-time recipient junior Allison Evans. Fellow upperclassman senior Julia Reinprecht made the team for the first time in her career, as the duo earned their second academic honor of the year. Both were named to the Academic All-Ivy Team this past fall along with earning All-Ivy League honors.
Joining Reinprecht as first-time honorees are: sophomore Kate Ferrara and freshmen Ellen Dobrijevic, Andrea Jenkins and Hailey Reeves.
Along with the individual recognition, Princeton was one of 72 Division I programs to be named to the National Academic Team for having a combined team GPA above 3.00.
