INDIANAPOLIS (3/5/14) - Senior All-America Michael Williams has been selected to compete in the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship, it was announced by the committee on Sunday.
Williams is one of 16 athletes nationwide that will run in the men's mile.
The championships will be held March 14-15 in Albuquerque, N.M.., at the Albuquerque Convention Center hosted by the University of New Mexico
The semifinals of the mile will be at 8 p.m., (ET) on Friday, March 14, with the final at 8 p.m. (ET), on Saturday, March 15. ESPN3 will stream the meet live on March 14 starting at 7:55 p.m. (ET) and March 15 at 7:50 p.m. (ET). A tape delay will air on Saturday, March 22 on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m.
A NCAA national champion, Williams was a member of Princeton's distance medley relay that captured the NCAA title last year. Williams was the lead-off runner, in the 1200 meter leg. Additionally, Williams has two Penn Relay Championship of America titles. He has previously qualified for the NCAA East Regional (outdoor) in the 800 twice. Williams owns two Princeton school records, in the DMR and the 4x800.
