PRINCETON, N.J. (2/12/14) - Princeton women's hockey will honor its six seniors on Saturday as the Class plays its final home games of the regular season at Hobey Baker Rink. First up is Princeton's game with Brown on Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. Yale comes into the building on Saturday, Feb. 15 for a 4 p.m., game.

EYE ON THE TIGERS
With four games remaining Princeton looks to move up the standings and is still alive for home ice in the playoffs. The Tigers are sixth in the standings with 19 points, two points out of fifth place and three out of home ice. Princeton is 12-9-4 overall and on a three-game unbeaten streak after a 2-1 win over St. Lawrence and a  2-2 tie with No. 3 Clarkson last weekend on the road. Senior Denna Laing sits atop the scoring column with 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points. Senior Sally Butler has a team-high 14 assists and four goals for 18 points. Sophomore Jaimie McDonell, senior Rose Alleva and junior Brainna Leahy have 14 points apiece. Junior Ali Pankowski, freshman Cassidy Tucker and seniors Gabie Figueroa and Olivia Mucha are also in double figures. Sophomore Kimberly Newell is 10-9-4 in goal with a .908 save percentage and a 2.70 goals against average.

PRINCETON/BROWN SERIES
Princeton is on a seven-game win streak in the series with Brown and is 39-29-2 overall. The Bears last win in the series came on Feb. 19, 2010, a one-goal victory.Earlier this season Princeton recorded a 5-2 win at Brown with Rose Alleva scoring twice, Sally Butler assisting on three goals and Gabie Figueroa tallying two helpers. Kimberly Newell made 24 saves as shots were even at 26-26.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Brown is 4-16-5 on the season and with a 3-12-3 record in the ECAC, sits in 10th place in the standings with nine points. The Bears are on a two-game winning streak after a 3-0 shutout of Rensselaer and a 2-1 win over Union. Three juniors lead the way in terms of scoring. Sarah Robson has 14 points on five goals and a team-best 14 assists. Janice Yang has scored the most goals, seven, and adds five helpers for 12 points. Kaitlyn Keon and freshman Erin Conway are next on the list with 11 points apiece. This week's ECAC Goalie of the Week Aubree Moore has started in all but two games in goal and has a .929 save percentage and a 2.48 GAA.

PRINCETON/YALE SERIES
Princeton holds a 57-12-2 edge in the all-time series with Yale. The Tigers won the last meeting, a 3-2 game at Ingalls in November. Rose Alleva assisted on all three Princeton goals with Jaimie McDonell scoring the game-winning goal in the third period. Kimberly Newell stopped 34 shots as Yale edged Princeton slightly in shots 36-32.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale is one place behind Princeton in the league standings with 15 points on a 5-8-5 league mark. The Bulldogs are 7-13-5 overall and is winless in their last four games. The streak comes after a five-game unbeaten streak that include a shutout of Harvard and a tie with Clarkson, both ranked teams. Yale is without its leading scorer, freshman Phoebe Staenz, who is representing Team Switzerland at the Olympics. Sophomore Jamie Haddad now leads the charge with 18 points on nine goals and nine assists. Sophomore Janelle Ferrara stands in between each with five goals and 14 assists for 19 points. Five other skaters have 10 points or more. Junior Jaimie Leonoff has started in goal in all but two games. She has a .920 save percentage and a 2.82 GAA.
