PRINCETON, N.J. (10/17/13) - Two undefeated Ivy League teams meet on Saturday as the Princeton men's soccer teams hosts Columbia at 4 p.m., on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium. The Tigers enter the weekend with a 1-0-1 Ivy mark, while Columbia has two ties.

The Tigers will have the 1993 Princeton NCAA semifinalist team in their corner, as Princeton honors the team that reached the final four at halftime. Princeton Tiger bobbleheads will also be available at the front gate, courtesy of Princeton Dining Services.

Columbia leads the all-time series since it began in 1907, 31-21-9. The teams played to a scoreless tie last year where Princeton outshot Columbia 17-6 and had seven shots on goal to Columbia's one. Columbia won a 2-1 game in 2011 ended a four-year win streak for the Tigers.

Princeton had a three-game unbeaten streak halted at St. John's on Tuesday and is 4-6-1 on the season. The Tigers beat Dartmouth 2-1 in the league opener and played to a scoreless draw with Brown last weekend. Leading the team up front is sophomore Thomas Sanner. The 2012 Ivy League Rookie of the Year leads the league in scoring with 13 points on six goals and one assist. Two-time Ivy League Player of the Week Cameron Porter has 10 points on four goals and two assists, fourth-best in the league. Senior Seth MacMillan has a 3-6-1 record with two shutouts. He owns a 1.66 goals against average and a . 595 save percentage. The team has had more productive second halves than firsts, scoring nine of its 13 goals in the second half and taking 56 more shots (38-94).

After starting the season with two losses, Columbia put together a string of five straight wins followed up by ties to Brown and Penn. The seven-game streak came to an end this past Tuesday in Storrs in a 4-0 loss to UConn. Saturday's game at Princeton marks Columbia's first league game on the road, where the Lions have a 2-3 record. David Najem is second behind Sanner in the league in points with 11, on four goals and three assists. Will Stamatis and Andrew Tinari both have seven points, with Stamatis scoring two of his team's game-winning gaols. Antonio Matarazzo has scored two game winners as well, and one addition goal for six points. Kyle Jackson has started in all 10 games in goal. He has a 5-3-2 record with 3.5 shutouts, a 1.10 GAA and a .784 save percentage.
