Women's Golf Jumps Three Spots in Texas
Moving up to 13th place, the Princeton women's golf team trimmed three shots off its first-round score Monday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Texas.
The Tigers picked up three spots from its Sunday night standing of 16th place in the 18-team field, with Alexandra Wong (eight shots) and Hana Ku (five shots) as the most improved players from the first round to the second.
Kelly Shon remains the top Tiger in the field, putting up a 74 after shooting a first-round 69. She enters the final round six shots off the medalist pace set by UCLA's Alison Lee and Mississippi State's Jessica Peng at 7-under.
