In time, Princeton head coach Sean Wilkinson will get to experience just how special the home court advantage is at the Jadwin Squash Courts. It just won’t be very often during the upcoming season.

But there are certainly two matches at Jadwin that will be circled.

The reigning Ivy League champion Princeton Tigers announced their 2013-14 men’s squash schedule recently, and it includes only one home match prior to February (a Nov. 24 showdown with Williams). December will include Wilkinson’s first return to Drexel (Dec. 4), where he served as an assistant coach, as well as the first major test of the season, a road match at Rochester (Dec. 7).

January, as always, will be a particularly grueling month for Princeton; the Tigers will play their first match in a five-week span at defending national champion Harvard (Jan. 11), and then will return from exam break with a midweek match at reigning national champion Trinity (Jan. 29).

Jadwin will become a very familiar place to Princeton in February, as the Tigers will host a trio of Ivy League matches. The month begins with the annual Brown-Yale home weekend, with the Yale match scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2. Princeton won at Yale en route to the Ivy League title last season.

After matches at Penn and Columbia, Princeton will host Cornell Feb. 9. The Big Red ended the Tigers’ perfect run through the Ivy League last season with a 5-4 home win. The Tigers came back two days later, though, to beat Columbia and clinch a share of the title.

Princeton will head north to Cambridge, Mass., for the 2014 CSA Team Championships. Last year, the Tigers played Harvard in a semifinal classic; the Crimson took the match 5-4 by winning the final match on the court.

The season concludes Feb. 28-March 2 at the individual national championships, and Tiger fans will be able to make the rare close trip to see nationals. Ringe Courts at the University of Pennsylvania will serve as the host for the CSA nationals. All-Americas Samuel Kang and Tyler Osborne will look to reach their first national finals this postseason.
