Missouri Mavericks Sign Kleebaum '13
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (9/12/13) - The Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League (CHL) have signed former Princeton hockey player Rob Kleebaum '13.
Kleebaum spent time with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) after his senior season concluded, playing in five games.
During his career as a Tiger, Kleebaum appeared in 105 games and scored 22 goals and 39 assists for 61 points. As an assistant captain his senior year, Kleebaum played in every game and score four goals and eight assists for 12 points.
"Rob is a very skilled hockey player who loves to shoot the puck," Mavericks head coach Scott Hillman said. "He has great speed and can play all three forward positions. We are anxious to see Rob play in camp on lines with some of our veteran players. We believe his hockey sense, coupled with his dangerous shot can make him an offensive threat.
The Mavericks are the same organization that signed Eric Meland '13 in March. The team opens the season in October.
