With the 2013 season set to commence in just over two weeks, the Princeton men’s water polo team enters the year with a No. 15 preseason ranking in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity National Top 20 poll. The Tigers were also tabbed No. 3 in the CWPA conference preseason top 10 poll.

On the national scene, Princeton enters the year with the identical ranking it concluded 2012 with, garnering 30 points en route to its No. 15 placing in the week one poll.

The Tigers will face six teams with a preseason ranking, including the top two squads in Southern California and UCLA on the road, and a pair of opponents currently receiving votes towards a spot in the top-20. The year will open with 18th-ranked Santa Clara on Friday, Sept. 13 at 6:30 p.m. live on ESPNU.
