Women's Soccer Releases 2013 Schedule

The Princeton women's soccer team will get its schedule underway Friday, Sept. 6 at Roberts Stadium. The Tigers are coming off a 14-4-1 season including a 7-0-0 Ivy League record and a trip to the NCAA tournament's second round. Here is a look at the schedule:

Richmond
Friday, Sept. 6, 6 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 8-9-1
• Series vs. Princeton: Tied 1-1
• Last meeting: Princeton won 2-0 on Sept. 8, 2006
• Series at Princeton: First meeting
• On the Spiders: Richmond returns leading scorer Becca Wann, who had seven of the team's 21 goals, but graduated Andrea Young, who played all but 45 minutes of the season in goal.
  Army
Sunday, Sept. 8, 12 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 8-10-0
• Series vs. Princeton: Army leads 2-4
• Last meeting: Army won 2-1 on Oct. 28, 1997
• Series at Princeton: Tied 2-2
• On the Black Knights: Joey Molacek and Kim An combined for 13 of the team's 24 goals last season and both return this season. Linda Rosas, who started 15 of the team's 18 games in goal, also returns.
  Seton Hall
Thursday, Sept. 12, 7 p.m. at South Orange, N.J.
• 2012 Record: 7-12-0
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 8-2
• Last meeting: Seton Hall won 2-1 on Sept. 9, 2011
• Series at Seton Hall: Princeton leads 4-1
• On the Pirates: No returning player scored more than three goals last season. Gina Maiorana, who split time in goal with the graduated Alyssa Kelly nearly evenly last season, returns.
  Rutgers
Sunday, Sept. 15, 2 p.m. at Piscataway, N.J.
• 2012 Record: 13-8-1, NCAA second round
• Series vs. Princeton: Rutgers leads 14-10-3
• Last meeting: Rutgers won 2-0 on Sept. 3, 2010
• Series at Rutgers: Rutgers leads 6-5-2
• On the Scarlet Knights: Jonelle Filigno, a Canadian national team teammate of Princeton alumna Diana Matheson '08, enters her final season at Rutgers and scored 15 of the team's 32 goals last season. Jessica Janosz, also entering her final season, is the only returning keeper after starting two of the team's 22 games last season.
  Saint Joseph's
Tuesday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m. at Philadelphia, Pa.
• 2012 Record: 9-7-4
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 2-0
• Last meeting: Princeton won 3-0 on Sept. 7, 2012
• Series at Saint Joseph's: First meeting
• On the Hawks: Mo Hawkins had eight of the team's 23 goals last season and returns for her final campaign. The Hawks will be without a collegiately experienced goalkeeper at season's beginning as Christine Neal, who played every minute of the 2012 season, completed her eligibility.
 

William & Mary
Sunday, Sept. 22, 1 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 14-5-1
• Series vs. Princeton: William & Mary leads 5-1
• Last meeting: William & Mary won 2-0 on Sept. 16, 2011
• Series at Princeton: Tied 1-1
• On the Tribe: Though the Tribe loses its leading scorer and assist leader from last season, Dani Rutter, with seven goals, is back, as is Caroline Casey, who started all 20 games in goal.

  Fordham
Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m. at New York, N.Y.
• 2012 Record: 8-11-0
• Series vs. Princeton: First meeting
• Last meeting: N/A
• Series at Fordham: First meeting
• On the Rams: Kristina Maksuti led the team with seven goals in 2012 and returns this season, as does Ally White, who split time between the posts last season with Rachel Suther, who completed her eligibility.
  Yale
Saturday, Sept. 28, 4 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 8-7-2, 1-4-2 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 22-11-2
• Last meeting: Princeton won 2-1 on Sept. 22, 2012
• Series at Princeton: Princeton leads 9-7-1
• On the Bulldogs: Yale is without a player who scored more than three goals last season, as Kristen Forster, who scored seven goals in 2012, wrapped up her career. Two of the three keepers who played last season, Rachel Ames and Elise Wilcox, return this season.
  La Salle
Tuesday, Oct. 1, 7 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 17-5-1, NCAA first round
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 6-1
• Last meeting: Princeton won 2-1 on Oct. 22, 2012
• Series at Princeton: Princeton leads 3-1
• On the Explorers: Kelsey Haycook and Renee Washington combined to score 17 of the team's 41 goals last season, and both are back. So are all three keepers, led by Gabby Pakhtigian who started 22 of the team's 23 games.
  Dartmouth
Saturday, Oct. 5, 7 p.m. at Hanover, N.H.
• 2012 Record: 13-4-0, 6-1-0 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 16-15-1
• Last meeting: Princeton won 2-1 on Sept. 29, 2012
• Series at Dartmouth: Dartmouth leads 9-6-1
• On the Big Green: Chrissy Lozier and Emma Brush combined for 15 of the team's 34 goals last year, and both return. Tatiana Saunders, who started all 17 games in goal, is back as well.
  Brown
Saturday, Oct. 12, 4 p.m. at Providence, R.I.
• 2012 Record: 7-9-1, 1-5-1 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Brown leads 16-15-4
• Last meeting: Princeton won 2-0 on Oct. 6, 2012
• Series at Brown: Brown leads 9-7-1
• On the Bears: Chloe Cross led Brown with five goals last season and returns, as do both sides of Brown's goalkeeping tandem, MC Barrett and Amber Bledsoe.
  Lehigh
Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 5-13-0
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 17-0-1
• Last meeting: Princeton won 6-1 on Oct. 10, 2012
• Series at Princeton: Princeton leads 10-0
• On the Mountain Hawks: Murphee Greeley led Lehigh with six of the team's 20 goals last season and returns this fall. All three goalkeepers, led by Ani Nahapetian and her 834 minutes, also return this fall.
  Columbia
Saturday, Oct. 19, 1 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 6-9-1, 2-4-1 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 20-5-3
• Last meeting: Princeton won 2-1 on Oct. 13, 2012
• Series at Princeton: Princeton leads 12-1-1
• On the Lions: Beverly Leon and Coleen Rizzo combined to score 12 of the Lions' 16 goals last season, and both return this fall. Grace Redmon, who started all 16 games in goal last season, also returns.
  Harvard
Saturday, Oct. 26, 7 p.m. at Cambridge, Mass.
• 2012 Record: 9-5-3, 3-3-1 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Harvard leads 22-10-1
• Last meeting: Princeton won 3-1 on Oct. 20, 2012
• Series at Harvard: Harvard leads 10-5-1
• On the Crimson: Meg Cascells-Hamby and Elizabeth Weisman combined for 11 of the team's 27 goals last season and both return this fall. Bethany Kanten, who started 15 of the team's 16 games in goal last season, also returns.
  Colgate
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m. at Hamilton, N.Y.
• 2012 Record: 11-6-4, NCAA first round
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 5-4-1
• Last meeting: Tied 4-4 on Sept. 2, 2012
• Series at Colgate: Tied 2-2-1
• On the Raiders: With 11 goals, Catherine Williams was Colgate's second leading scorer last season behind 14 goals from Jillian Kinter, who completed her eligibility. The Raiders return Emma Giegerich and Erin Cummings in goal, but neither started last season, subbing into a combined five games.
  Cornell
Saturday, Nov. 2, 7 p.m. at Roberts Stadium
• 2012 Record: 1-14-1, 0-6-1 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 22-7-4
• Last meeting: Princeton won 5-1 on Oct. 27, 2012
• Series at Princeton: Princeton leads 10-3-3
• On the Big Red: Cornell returns just three of its 16 goals from last season. Caroline Quentin is the only returning goalkeeper from last season, starting one game and making two other appearances.
  Penn
Friday, Nov. 8, 6 p.m. at Philadelphia, Pa.
• 2012 Record: 9-6-1, 5-2-0 Ivy
• Series vs. Princeton: Princeton leads 17-8-2
• Last meeting: Princeton won 4-2 on Nov. 3, 2012
• Series at Penn: Penn leads 7-5-1
• On the Quakers: Kerry Scalora led the Quakers with four goals last season and is back this fall. Katherine Myhre, who appeared in one game last season, is the team's only returning goalkeeper.
