The Princeton women's soccer program, coming off an undefeated, untied Ivy League season and a win in the NCAA tournament, will welcome nine members of the Class of 2017 onto the team. GoPrincetonTigers.com will introduce you to the newcomers one by one through the offseason.

Nicole Loncar • 5-7 • Midfielder
Brampton, Ont. • Cardinal Leger Secondary School

A member of the Canadian U-20 team, Loncar has competed with the Brams United club team for 10 years, winning OYSL League and Ontario Cup titles in 2007. Loncar was selected to the U-15 and U-16 Ontario provincial teams, with whom she helped secure a national championship in 2011, and later joined the National Training Centre of Ontario as an underage player. Loncar represented Canada in the U-17 CONCACAF in Guatemala in 2012, where the Canadians were silver-medalists, as well as the 2012 U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan, where Canada was eliminated in the quarterfinals after narrowly losing to eventual finalist North Korea. Loncar also ran cross country at her high school, Cardinal Leger in her hometown of Brampton, Ont.
Loncar on Princeton: "It is easy to see that Princeton has more than just a soccer program; it has a family and communal atmosphere that extends off the field just as much as it does on. The sense of pride, passion, and will to win is something that I knew I wanted to become a part of, and along with the world class facilities and coaching staff, I am confident and looking forward to developing as a player, person, and maturing Tiger."

Coach Julie Shackford on Nicole Loncar:
"We are thrilled that Nicole Loncar will be joining a long legacy of Canadians that have come through the program. Primarily a midfielder, she has been with the Canadian national team program since 2011. She is technically sound, has great vision and is an elite player in terms of her composure and distribution. She recently represented Canada in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan, and her experiences with the National Training Centre and the U-17 national team will be invaluable to our players and program."
