McMunn & Bannantine Capture Synapse Sports All-America Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/14/13) - Princeton's Erin McMunn and Liz Bannantine captured All-America honors by Synapse Sports it was announced by the Web site on Tuesday, May 14.

McMunn was named third team while Bannantine was named to the all-rookie team.

The 2013 Ivy League Attacker of the Year McMunn led the Tigers in scoring with 69 points on 40 goals and 29 assists. She led the league in points per game in conference games, averaging 4.71 ppg. She was second on the team in draws with 48,  while adding 14 ground balls and six caused turnovers. McMunn earned first-team All-Ivy and first-team all-region honors this season as well as making an appearance on the Tewaaraton Watch List.

Bannantine started every game on defense for the Tigers during her freshman campaign. She collected 17 caused turnovers, the second most on the team, 19 ground balls, won eight draw controls and had one assist. Bannantine was also named second-team All-Ivy League.
