Ian Hummer, Brendan Connolly, Mack Darrow and T.J. Bray, the 2012-13 team's four co-captains, were the honorees as the Princeton men's basketball team awarded its team honors at the annual banquet Wednesday night in Jadwin Gym.

Bray, a junior and a second-team All-Ivy League selection, was honored with the Paul Richard Friedman '81 Award, given annually in Friedman's memory "to the player who does his best every day in every way." The first non-senior since Marcus Schroeder '10 in 2009 to win the honor, Bray had his second straight season of more than 100 assists, placing second on the team with 102 helpers and just 46 turnovers. The team's third-leading scorer at 9.9 points per game, Bray had a team-best 51 steals while starting all 28 games.

Connolly and Darrow were co-selections for the Class of 1959 Bob Rock Sixth Man Award, given annually in Rock's memory to the team member "whose energy, effort and enthusisasm made an invaluable contribution to the season." The senior pair are the first to share the award, which was inaugurated in 2006 and was won by Darrow last season. Both Connolly and Darrow played in all 28 games with 45 of those combined 56 appearances coming off the bench. Connolly shot 48 percent from the field on the season, fourth-best on the team, while Darrow was one of four Tigers to make at least 20 3-pointers, going 25 of 67 from beyond the arc this season. The pair combined for 54 assists and only 25 turnovers.

Hummer earned the B.F. Bunn Trophy, the longest-running award in Princeton basketball history, given annually to the Tiger "who in play, sportsmanship and influence has contributed the most to the sport." Hummer was Princeton's first Ivy League Player of the Year since 1999 while earning NABC All-District 13 honors and AP honorable mention All-America status. At 16.3 points per game overall, he led the team in scoring, and at 16.9 points per game in Ivy contests, he was just four points from becoming the first Tiger since 1972 to win the Ivy League scoring title. Hummer was the first Tiger to lead the team in scoring, rebounding, assists and blocks since Kit Mueller '91 in 1990-91. The Bunn Trophy has now gone to the program's second-leading career scorer in history in back-to-back seasons, as Douglas Davis '12 (1,550 points) won it last year before Hummer (1,625 points) surpassed Davis on the program's all-time scoring list this season to stand second to Bill Bradley '65 (2,503).

Princeton finished 17-11 on the season and 10-4 in the Ivy League, the fourth straight year in which Princeton won at least 10 Ivy League games. The Princeton seniors, who won 84 games during the last four years, finish their careers as the winningest Princeton class since the Class of 2001.
