Hooks Earns First Career Player of the Week Honor
Princeton women's water polo sophomore Camille Hooks earned her first career CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week honor, it was announced Wednesday. The utility picks up the Tigers' sixth weekly award in 2013 and the third of her career, as she was named Rookie of the Week twice last season.
Hooks is coming off a five-goal, eight-assist and six-steal performance at last weekend's LMU Invite. She established new career single-game highs in goals, with four versus Cal State Monterey Bay, and assists, with four versus both Sonoma State and then-No. 14 Loyola Marymount.
Princeton (17-5, 2-0 Southern) has a week off in play before its final regular season weekend from April 6-7 versus Mercyhurst, Harvard and Bucknell at home.
